Nintendo at E3 2010. "They've got bitches" >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Sony

Okay well just to let you all get a serious grasp on how serious the situation is, today was Nintendo's press conference at E3, my friend informed me of it this morning(about 2 hours before i am comfortable waking up during the summer) and i sprang for the remote. Though Nintendo was obviously the least impressive display last year, this year they MORE than made up for it, in my opinion being best of E3 2010. They unveiled numerous titles for upcoming games this year and they did not disappoint. Things like the Zelda; Skyward Sword were unveiled, and less expected new games such as Kirby, a new gen Donkey Kong Country and even Goldeneye oo7, most of you are probably familiar with the groundbreaking Goldeneye on the N64. Effectively bringing new gen games along with the nostalgic feeling of playing classic characters such as DK and Kirby who haven't had new games in ages. Expect nothing less from Nintendo

What really stole the show was the New Nintendo 3Ds. On the surface the 3DS seems like another gimmick for the DS but in all seriousness it's a huge step forward. If your unfamiliar with it, as the name(obvious pun) suggests, it gives you impressive 3D effects. The 3Ds utilizes several camera lenses used in a similar fashion as human eyes, and rendering 3D images, w/o the use of stupid 3D glasses or any sort of superfluous add-on. Developers for many companies such as Konami, Capcom, Ubisoft, etc. were quoted about their thoughts on how amazing the 3DS was, and they announced upcoming titles for the game including Metroid Other M, Metal Gear Solid, Kingdom Hearts, and not to mention Kid Icarus.(yes, Kid icarus will see it's revival on the 3DS) All of which in 3D!!! haha. And with the 3DS Nintendo showed off what we'd like to call "Thah Bitches" as soon as they unveiled the 3DS to the crowed, they continued to say that the Demo on the screen, though amazing, was still not able to accurately express the capabilities of the 3DS. They actually brought out a whole array of women(the bitches) each holding a 3DS with a demo for the crowd to play. The ultimate display of how bitchin' Nintendo is. Nintendo looks more than promising this year, and dare i say, gaming's ruler for 2010

Nao for the things that made me cringe at the E3 conference. Namely sony. Sony is attempting to out do EVERYONE in one move. Trying to compete with the motion gaming of Nintendo AND Microsoft.

May i present to you Sony's Knock-off Wii-mote:

Okay for one thing this "Playstation Move" is an obvious rip-off off of the Wii-Mote. Except for a few differences. For one thing the Wii-Mote looks like it would actually fit comfortably in your hand. Also this here looks like some kind of weird Flashlight, Microphone...penis...hybrid...except that, all those things are known for fitting in your hand comfortably. and IDK about you but the button layout seems uncomfortable to say the least. Unlike the Wii-Mote buttons, the buttons are not placed so they are naturally within reach of your thumb and instead has you awkwardly leaning your fingers left and right for the buttons. Imagine if on a Wii-Mote, instead of where the A button is, you have 4 buttons AROUND where that is supposed to be.

Behold Sony and their awesome 80's tech:

Yes, yet another one of Sony's gimmicky attempts to sell consoles. The thing that made me laugh about this was it was unveiled after Nintendo's 3DS. The thought that arose in my head was "Didn't Nintendo JUST GET FINISHED making 3D glasses completely obsolete!?" and minutes later Sony unveil their "technology from the future" the 3D glasses.

Soyea that's sony for ya, shamelessly calling their idea's "new" or "from the future" So please tell me what you think cuz i'd really like to know what people think about this, leave it to the comments.

Stupid things that I hate about people

The Phrase "Just saying"

okay this is just a rant about why find the phrase "just saying" incredibly stupid, mainly because it's used by stupid people who don't have any way to refine their argument.(note: for those of you that don't know how to use words in context. The word Argument does not necessarily describe a time of fighting or arguing amongst people but rather one's reasoning for or against something.) Anyway, I have no idea why people even use the phrase "just saying" or what people think it means. Most times, people use the phrase in an attempt to refute others who claims that they are saying something in some form that is insulting.

for example: Person A is ranting about someone that they don't like, and saying a bunch of reasons why they don't like this person and things about this person they find annoying. Person B then proceeds to tell this person to stop talking shit and calm down. Person A then proceeds to say "I'm not talking shit, I'm just saying."

example 2: Person A is saying, "where did you get the nickname (insert nickname here.)" Person B then says "don't ask." Person A then continues to say "I'm not asking I'm just saying." Person B then says "well don't even wonder about it." Person A continues to insist "I'm not wondering I'm just saying."

Both of the above scenarios were indeed taken from real life.

Anyway, i don't understand people's reasoning when they use the phrase "just saying." Most people use it to assert that they are not saying something in some way. But if you are indeed one of those brain-dead morons you probably don't realize that "just saying" has the same denotative meaning as pretty much any other form of saying something. Such as; asking a question, thinking aloud, talking shit. Those will all have the same denotative meaning as "just saying." I hate how people say that they're "just saying" because it really doesn't mean anything, and it certainly doesn't refute other people who claim you are saying something in some other way. it's a filler, it's like "whatever" it doesn't mean anything, but any moron can put it anywhere.
