What the heck is up with Formspring?

If you don't know what Formspring is, it's essentially a big question board. Random ppl, friends, family, and anyone who happens to find their way over to your Formspring can type a question(if they have an account or not) for you to answer, at your own discretion. For the most part it's a fun little website, interesting way to socialize with friends, and with the main focus responding to questions its more active than anything on your Facebook wall.

Now the problem here of course is that anyone can ask you anything. And by that i mean any person(whether you know them or not) can ask whatever...and you can imagine how that may be problematic. After learning of this websites existence(very recently...so yea for most of you i may be slow) i discovered that like most websites, the ppl that get the most attention are female. And on top of that we all know that one of the primary uses for the internet is of course first and foremost to Slander People Anonymously.

After researching several friends of mine and discovering their Formsprings i looked at the number of questions they have, the number of new posts each day and the content of the question. And of course the girls regularly had more questions each day, however a good 75% of those questions consisted of talk of penis' and oral sex or jizz...or something else to that effect.

It goes without saying how annoyed I am at that kind of shit for happening, and that my female friends take the time to answer such nonsense, but of course it's the internet and i should expect as much. I even thought about making one myself, and as i was debating this in my head i actually thought "well since im not a girl i wont get a bunch of terrible questions."

Sigh...

...well i guess there's just one thing left to do...

the truth behind the name

La Vanilla Mephisto, my team of linguistics experts have deciphered it and concluded that it translates roughly to "The Vanilla Mephisto." It is a name commonly used for my doubles team in Super Smash Brothers; Melee. Me and a friend of mine went to a local tournament and were playing some friendly matches. And it was strange because we actually doing quite well for ourselves and having fun, it was especially surprising for me because normally i am quite terrible in doubles. Anyways for one reason or another we ended up using the same characters on our doubles team as one of the most dominant doubles teams ever known only as El Chocolate Diablo...or Ken and Isai who are in fact 2 of the competitive smash worlds most well known. Of course my doubles partner and I though of our own variation of El Chocolate Diablo, and thus La Vanilla Mephisto was born.

and then one day i decided to write a blog and this was the very first thing that came into mind

Hello World

My name is Georel and today i found myself dying of boredom(this happens quite often.) I made my way over to this new fangled thing called "blogging." I figure there are already thousands of people posting their oppinions on stuff for no apparent reason, so 1 more wont really hurt anyone.

Things I do in my spare time:

• Gaming-I've spent a good portion of my life with a controller in my hands
• Music - Second to gaming on my list of hobbies would be music, been playing Sax for nearly 10 years nao
• Creating an awkward Silence
• Ending an awkward Silence
• Both of the latter simultaneously(not always in that order)
